In one breath: Ottipod turns what you say into cards that act. Your content stays yours. It listens only when you switch it on, and you are responsible for the people around you. Its notes and answers help you think — they are not medical, legal or financial advice.

1. Who we are

Ottipod is provided from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("we") to people everywhere. By signing in you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Nothing in these terms takes away protections you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account. You must be 18 or older, wherever you are. Keep your links and keys (device links, the listening link, a Pod's code) private — anyone with them can add to your board. Tell us at once if one leaks; you can rotate them in the app.

3. Your content

Everything Ottipod hears, writes up or stores for you is yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store it, transcribe it, sort it, and act on it as you have asked. We do not sell it, show you advertising, or use it to train AI models. You can download it or delete it at any time — see the Privacy Notice.

4. Listening responsibly

Ottipod hears the room. You choose when it listens. You are responsible for informing people around you and for any consent the law where you are requires, and for not using it where recording is prohibited. Do not use it to record anyone secretly. Every ear shows when it is on, and every one can be muted.

5. What the AI writes is not advice

Cards, notes, briefs, answers and lookups are produced by AI from what was said. They can be wrong. They are reference material to help you, not medical, legal or financial advice, and they never replace your own judgement. If you are a professional, you remain fully responsible for your patients, clients and students and for checking anything before you rely on it. Ottipod is not a medical device.

6. Sharing

When you share a card, the people you share it with can see it, comment, and ask the AI about it. Choose who can see each card. Do not share other people's private information without their permission.

7. Devices and the Ottipod

Wearables and browser links you connect are yours to manage. The Ottipod is sold under its own hardware terms and warranty provided with it; this service continues to work with any supported device.

8. Fees

Ottipod is free to begin. If we introduce paid plans, we will say so clearly inside the app at least 30 days before anything becomes chargeable, and nothing you already have will be taken away without notice. If you ever pay for something, you can change your mind within 14 days for a full refund, unless you have already used what you paid for — the EU and UK right of withdrawal, honoured for everyone.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use Ottipod to break the law, to harm or harass anyone, to record people unlawfully, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend an account that does.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep Ottipod available and safe, but it is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service, you will have at least 30 days to download your data.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made in reliance on AI output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (and ₹1,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

12. Ending things

You can delete your account at any time (About you → Your data), which erases everything. We may close accounts that break these terms.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes belong to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka — except that if you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or anywhere else whose law gives you the right to be heard at home, you keep that right and its mandatory protections.
